Jack Rulon Falslev

I got a text message this morning saying that Jack has arrived safely! Mother and Father are apparently doing well. Here is what Allison wrote: 6:08 am 7 lbs 1 oz 19 inches brown hair, looks like his brother, grunts a lot, so cute! I'm sure there will be pictures to follow. Allison's water actually broke last night around 9 while I was on the phone with her! Then I got a text saying the hospital wanted them to go in around 12:30 am. And 5 1/2 hours later he was born. Clark made a changing table for Jack and we are still working on getting it painted, I guess we better get it into gear!

  1. Allison just called at 8:00 am and said she and Jack are fine. The official middle name will be Rulon after Tyler's father. It is good to have everything turn out OK and to add another healthy boy to the extended Emmett family - congratulations to Allison and Tyler!

  4. Great News! Now that the full name has been confirmed, I wonder how long before he's called YPR, 'Your Pal Rulon', after his grandfather.

  6. I haven't gotten an official ruling from Tyler but after I posted the previous comment I had a flash-back to the late 60's and it seemed to me that Rulon Falslev was a counselor in the Benson Ward bishopric while I was doing the same in the Logan 10th Ward and that he later became the Bishop of the Benson Ward when I was serving in the same capacity in the 18th Ward. That would then make him Tyler's grandfather and not his father. I, however, will wait for an official clarification from Tyler. Either way, we are glad for the happy arrival.
