Bahia Ben

Ben and his third "son" Elder Kleberson.

A sign close to Ben's apartment that kind of makes him trunky. Ben's official return date is June 19th.

Bob at Beaver

So far this ski season Bob has been behind the camera taking pictures of others so I decided to take my camera along today and try to get a little better acquainted with it and take some pictures of him skiing. "A little" is the key phrase. I still am not very handy at using it and I couldn't get out in the powder either - it is mostly used up and my knees wouldn't make it anyway. The above pictures are what I could salvage from the day. Maybe next time I will figure out how to do a better job. At least they do show he can still attack the hill and enjoy it while he does. It was fun to have him here for a couple of days to put up with part of the Courdouroy Posse - Robert Hutchison, Elliot Rich, and I skied with him but Wayne Rich was skiing at the Canyons in Salt Lake while his wife Gene tended some grandchildren in town.

The Pierson's are moving to Cambridge... Cambridge Court Apartments in Logan, UT that is

While I was on the job search I came across an awesome job for a married couple.  It is being resident managers at an apartment complex.  It includes free rent, all utilities (including cable and high speed internet) paid, plus a salary of $560 a month.  So I immediately called the lady and we set up an interview with her yesterday (Tues) and she offered us the job about 30 minutes after the interview and cancelled the other interviews she had later this week!  I think she was really impressed that Clark is a "clean freak" and would keep the place looking nice and that he has cleaned and cared for a pool before since there is an indoor pool and hot tub that we will be cleaning!  So Clark is pretty much experienced at EVERYTHING and a good thing too because she was impressed.  So we will be moving in the first of March.  I'm really excited because we were kind of looking for a new apartment since ours right now is growing mold...it is disgusting.  And I needed a new job so it worked out.  Anyway this is getting really long and I couldn't wait until the next family letter to tell you since I'm too excited!  They are down on the Island right at the bottom of the dug-way so they are pretty nice and in the summer "senior citizens" live there so I will be kickin' it with them all summer!  Can you say Pool Party!

A day at the Beav

Me and Adrienne (did I use proper english?) up skiing the Beav!
Yes that is a Moose going for a jog up the canyon.  There was a row of cars behind him and the snow was too high for him to jump over.
Just a cute picture of Max and Katie outside the Falslev residence

Ignore my ugly voice and Adrienne cheering!  I promised Clark I would post them on the blog.  He kept watching the videos on the way home and critiquing them, which was good since the camera was out we got the picture of the Moose as it jogged past!

Jack's big weekend in the OC

John just put up this post on emmetthundene so I thought I better throw Beth and him a bone and let them see that Jack is surviving while they suffer through a week of vacationing in Kauai and Oahu.

Ducks are almost as much fun as pigeons
The good thing about Jack's boots is that they let him climb up the slide, the bad thing is that the boots also act as a brake when he's trying to go down.

Jack has no idea why we won't let him climb into the fountain.

The Merry-Go-Round was not a big hit. This was as close as we got to a smile.

A couple walking their dogs did bring a smile to Jack and the couple. Couldn't tell about the dogs.

Run Bike Swim - Kristin's first Triathlon

Kristin and her friend Rachel Phelps completed their first triathlon earlier today. The first annual Zot Tri sponsored by UCI. The usual Swim Bike Run order was reversed so that the swim could be held in the pool when the athletes are spaced out after the run and bike. I think Kristin may have been bitten by the tri-bug today. Well done Krissy!!

Finishing the run with Rachel

Check out Kristin's cornering skills and speed. If you look close you can see the 'old school' coral colored Jamis mountain bike used by the photographer. After years chained to a fence or a post outside an apartment in Provo it has found new life as a single speed townie in the O.C.

Finished

Relief!!

Fun with Jack at the Long Beach Aquarium

John and Beth are playing in Hawaii and they left Jack behind to play with Aunt Kristin and grandma and grandpa. Kristin hooked us up with some free tickets to the Aquarium so the four of us along with Hillary and Avery Stern and Rachel, Mia and Isabel Phelps enjoyed a couple of hours admiring the fish, sea lions and Jack's favorites - the pigeons.

Typical Jack, pretending to have a good time.

Kristin and Avery kept a watchful eye on Jack

Happy Anniversary!

Even though you took Molly & Erin out to eat with you on your anniversary, I am sure you still had a great time! I meant to put this up yesterday but I fell asleep on the bed waiting for Lorin to get off the computer. Then I meant to tell Dad Happy Anniversary on the phone earlier today but slipped my mind thanks to Polly. There you have my excuses. So HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! Love - Paige, Lorin, Polly & Studley Dudley

It's A...

If you haven't visitied my blog, here is the announcement to the family, that it's a boy! Still due August 1st.

Max and his slide...

Max got a HUGE blow up trampoline and slide for Christmas.

Out of focus because he is showing us how he can jump!

He loves to go down the slide and then climb back up telling us that it is slippery when he falls back down. He will literally do a running jump down the slide coming close to crashing into the wall a few times.

Max's Birthday Party

This is my first Blog so I hope I do it right!  I just wanted to add a few pictures of Max at his birthday party!  I bought him a little tool box with wooden tools in it so he started hammering away at everything.  Leave it to the aunt to buy him a loud toy.  When we were all leaving he was saying "Bye Happy Birthday" since that is what everyone had been telling him all night.
