HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAPA JOHN

You've done GRAND over the years. Thanks for the many trips across the country, all the skiing and boating and just being the best model of a father anyone could ask for, not to mention you picked the best wife and mother to help you along your way.





Sorry, it just made me laugh... again. The adopted son, Steve.

    We are so happy that John William Emmett was born 81 years ago today. Get that knee better so you can ski next year with your youngest grandson William (if he is potty trained by then!). We love you. Happy Birthday. The Springville Emmetts

    The great-grandkids are also lining up to ski with Papa John. I'm sure that once Jack starts talking some of the first words out of his mouth will be "When can I go skiing with Papa John?"

    Thanks for the memories and best wishes. At times I tend to forget about Steve being at Targhee with us so the reminder was most welcome. The physical therapist just left and said I am doing really well on flexing (bending) my right knee but getting it to straighten out is going slower - probably because I haven't been able to straighten it all the way out for a long time - I also can't full straighten out my left knee. More and tougher therapy seems to be the answer so I guess that is what I will have to do.
