Montana

I spent the weekend in Montana doing a little hunting with some friends. 5 of us drove up on Thursday afternoon and we stayed until Sunday morning. We spent Friday doing a little fishing in his pond and learning how to shoot guns. On Saturday we walked all over his ranch looking for pheasant but we were not very successful without a dog. We found one but it quickly hid in a bush and wouldn't come out. My roommate did end up getting a couple of ducks. It was a fun weekend. The guys slept outside in the tent while the two girls, Jackie and Joanna, slept in the one room log cabin on the property. We gave each other "Montana nicknames" and mine was Buck for the weekend. Others included "Red" and "Bunyan"

  2. It was difficult to tell for sure if the pictures were real or faked but you did have the gun pointing up and the ducks by the neck so you could have fooled me. What part of Montana were you visiting? And is the fish on Jackie's pole real?

  3. We were in Twin Bridges, MT. It is in the Southwestern part of Montana. 6 hour drive from Provo. All animals in photos are real.

  4. We would have been glad to loan Cheyenne out for the weekend. She has an uncanny ability of finding birds that are already dead so you wouldn't even need to shoot them. We recently discovered she has the same ablity when it comes to dead deer and skunk.

  5. A man after my own heart. Looks like some gorgeous country. So are you ready for the South Dakota pheasant season in about a month?

  6. Oh and by the way, I suspect you knew that those are some very fine (and expensive)pieces of weaponry.

  7. Hey Buck, next thing ya know you'll be mountin' up some Blue-winged teal and Dolly Varden for the study, then it's on to Desert Bighorn and a cougar for the BYU Shrine Room. And is that Uncle Jim's 20-gauge you're a sportin'?
