Go ANGELS!!

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, formerly known as the Anaheim Angels and the California Angels just clinched their 3rd division title in the past 4 years. Annie and I were at the game on Friday night when they failed to clinch the title against Ichiro and the Seattle Mariners. We watched team MVP, Vladimir Guerrero, get a clutch hit off a ball low and outside of the strike zone but that was not enough. Next up - the Red Sox or Yankees.

  2. So baseball isn't over yet? I'll be darned.

Do the Angels understand that they are now "The Angels Angels"?

  3. Bill,

I actually made that same comment on sports radio when the LAAA made the silly change.

Go whoever play the Red Sox!

  4. Looking good for Jake's Cubs. Four wins in a row. Bring it on. Angels - Cubs world series.

  5. Great pictures. Did you take them with your new Nikon?

Did they honor the "Emmett family" on the scoreboard or has our turn expired already?

  6. I did use the new Nikon. I'm pretty happy with the way they turned out. you can see the ball (if you look close) in the close ups of Ichiro and Vlady. On a couple of photos the auto focus captured the netting and left the players out of focus. No mention of the upcoming 60th anniversary on the scoreboard. Maybe next summer.
