WE'RE (finally) ENGAGED!
We are finally and officially engaged! It happened Friday night down in Salt Lake on the balcony of the Little America Hotel where we were staying looking towards the Grand America, Wasatch Mountains, and my alma mater. It just happened to be sunset (not planned) but added a nice touch. We celebrated after with dinner at Bambara.
We are both very excited and are planning for Summer 2009. (I don't love these pictures but that is all we have right now thanks to Laura)
I have to give praise to Nick, he did an amazing job picking out the ring with only a little help from Rob and Kimber Ballam.
Congrats! You look great!
ReplyDeleteCongrates!!! Looking forward to the big day.
ReplyDeleteGreat news! The Lundberg girls are all excited. I am certain Emily will be hoping for something after June 2009. We'll look forward to the occasion whatever the date ends up being.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! What a fun weekend. :) Can't wait to see you guys sometime this summer!
ReplyDeleteIt was great to have the happy couple over for Easter dinner yesterday. They looked even happier in real life. I was thinking grilled hamburgers with family in the backyard would be perfect for the reception, but Adrienne seemed to think a bit more pomp would be nice for the circumstances. I guess she's right.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
Congrats to the lovely couple!!
ReplyDeleteBill, I assume you mentioned to Adrienne the possibility of adding cheese and bacon to the hamburgers and that was still not acceptable? With your homemade salsa, I think you are on to something.
If you think we ae going to say "It's about time", forget it. Our message is "Way to go and congratulations!" We will look forward to the occasion regardless of the date so count us in if we are still able to sit up and take nourishment.
ReplyDeleteCongrats guys! What about the after party being hamburgers at Bill's? It just sounds so good.
ReplyDeleteParaphrasing Eric Clapton...may you never lay your head down without each others hand to hold. May you never make your bed out in the cold. (Sorry but it's the best I could come up with. ECs lyrics are not the most romantic.)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the both of yous.
Nice Adrienne! Exciting, huh!
ReplyDeleteHooray! You guys look great. Can't wait to see the ring up close. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteBob my Dad DID NOT mention the possibility of cheese and bacon nor the salsa...will need to rethink for the reception but only if my Dad sports a white apron and chef hat as Steve Martin envisions in Father of the Bride.
ReplyDeleteJake...way to go on the EC lyrics! Nick was very impressed.
