Brian and Jackie get married - and they sing!!
Congratulations to Brian and Jackie!! What a GREAT DAY. Brian and Jackie were sealed today in the Portland Temple. The weather was beautiful, the Bride was beautiful and the Groom was as handsome as ever. Mom, Dad and Mary made the long drive from Utah yesterday to join Annie, Kristin, John, Beth, Jack, Lily and me along with several of Brian's close friends for the festivities. There will be another post or two to follow but I thought I would start it off with three videos. In the first video, Jackie explains how they met in Mozambique and how a crowded bus ride led to the selection of 'their song'. In the second video the newly weds perform 'their song'. The third video of the the talented Donkin siblings doing what they do best - singing. Thanks to Christian Clayton for shooting the videos.

Great videos - awesome singing talent! I am impressed. :) Congratulations to the couple, we wish we had been there! It sounds like lots of people were laughing, but I hope I wasn't the only one that shed a tear or two...

ReplyDeleteIt was a lot of fun. And Paige there were very few emotional pregnant women so it was pretty much only laughs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great three day trip! Mary helped out with the driving and we made it in time to get to the family dinner Friday night. Jackie's family is really talented and did an excellent program. The Portland temple is beautiful and different, the ceremony was well done, and the reception was a lot of fun. this morning we headed home and in 12 short hours were back at the Twin Pine Ranch. Having Mary with us really helped out - many, many thanks! We also know Brian made a good choice as did Jackie.

Congratulations to the happy couple! Wish I was there to witness the beautiful rendition of "A whole new world". Jackie, we will definitely need your singing voice to help us out this Christmas for the caroling at the twin pine ranch. You both looked stunning!
