Studious Alex

Alex stopped by today to show us his new glasses. He said "I really don't need them but I can do my math better with them." We aren't sure how you can be better than the best but more power to him. He won't find out how it affects his skiing until tomorrow when the family goes to Park City to watch Sam race again. We wish her good luck.

  1. I wish my glasses helped me do my math better!

  2. He looks (and likely is) smarter than his uncle Jake. I just hope they don't make him ski better. I don't need any more "young guns" passing me up on the hill.

  3. Jake, I hate to break it too you but young Alex is already passing you on the hill and he knows the answer to both 9X6 and 8X7 which is an improvement over a couple of his uncles.

  4. Alex did turn a few heads at Park City without his glasses, he doesn't need to see the math board on the ski slopes. Sam missed second place by about .02 second but she is happy with her 3rd place. All my kids are smarter than their old man, good for them.

  5. Alex looks a whole lot better than I did sporting glasses at that age. He's smarter too.
