Happy Birthday Bruce!

Q: How do you know you're the 2nd child?

A: When your mom doesn't do a Happy Birthday Blog Post first thing in the morning on your birthday.
Whoops - dropped the ball on that one :)

Happy Birthday Bruce!

Our day started early with a trip to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House around 9. Fun Fact: We went to the Draper Temple Open House on Polly's birthday. PURE coincidence. Bruce's birthday was the only day it worked out with everyones work schedule (Molly & Lorin) to be able to all go together. It was a great experience to go to the temple, so fun to be able to see 3 temples from our neighborhood (if you were standing on our roof or the new road behind our house) & Polly was even more excited about seeing the temple lit up at night than she was about any fireworks.

Bruce's first (of 4) birthday cakes. He looks like he's saying "I'm one!" Blue frosting was Polly's choice.

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday Dear Bruce, Happy Birthday to you! Thanks for the party & dinner Grandma & Grandpa!

I bought this Nemo & Turtle over a year ago for Polly & never gave them to her - they have just been sitting in the closet until I decided to use them as Bruce's birthday present. They were a hit :)

Happy Birthday Bruce. We love you!

Shout out to my mom & Erin - it was so fun to have them here all week & do as much a we could with the time they were in Utah. Joseph (Ben & Courtney came up to go with Molly & Erin while we went to The Fray) , Music Man, Harry Potter with Ben & Courtney (Thanks for watching the kids Lundbergs), The Work & The Glory, Yes Man, playing at the park, watching Sesame Street Karaoke with the kids, going to the temple, playing at the Splash Pad, eating at Red Robin, shopping for new board shorts, going boating, driving aimlessly around Provo (with Erin) going to the "favorite Disney Store" for Polly & staying for probably close to an hour while she went crazy looking at toys...fun week! We miss you & hope we get to see you before Christmas! (Take a vote everyone...not seeing them until Christmas is way to long, right?) We are looking forward to seeing my Dad in September!

  1. Memorable days piled on memorable days - they never seem to end. Bruce's smile when the candle was lit on his cake will be remembered for a long time. All in all, multiple good times were had by multiple people - thanks to all.
