Brian is off to Mozambique
Brian is departing early Sunday morning for Mozambique! This is a BYU study abroad program. Among other things, Brian will be teaching English to school kids. Where, you ask is Mozambique? What language do they speak there? You could check out this link or wait for updates from Brian. http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/7035.htm
Good-luck, Brian. Here's Bob Dylan's view of Mozambique;
ReplyDeleteI like to spend some time in Mozambique
The sunny sky is aqua blue
And all the couples dancing cheek to cheek.
It's very nice to stay a week or two.
And when it's time for leaving Mozambique,
To say goodbye to sand and sea,
You turn around to take a final peek
And you see why it's so unique to be
Among the lovely people living free
Upon the beach of sunny Mozambique.
I doubt the Mozambiquans have ever seen dance moves like those. Plus who knows, maybe the Wayfarer is still popular over there.
ReplyDeleteI assume Bob Bylan's comments are correct since I have never been there myslf. I'll just have to wait for Brians's emails or a final report when he get back. Have a good time and be productive.
ReplyDeleteGrandpa
Don Henley still wears his Wayfarers
ReplyDeleteOut on the road today, I saw a DEADHEAD sticker on a Cadillac
A little voice Inside my head said, "Don't look back. You can never look back."
I thought I knew what love was
What did I know?
Those days are gone forever
I should just let them go but-
I can see you-
Your brown skin shinin' in the sun
You got that top pulled down and that radio on, baby
And I can tell you my love for you will still be strong
After the boys of summer have gone
I can see you-
Your brown skin shinin' in the sun
You got that hair slicked back and those Wayfarers on, baby
I can tell you my love for you will still be strong
After the boys of summer have gone
