Pretty Please!

Some of you may have already seen my blog post, but if now I wanted to make a post on the Emmettville blog since it is much more popular. Brandon and I want to thank everyone for coming to our wedding. We appreciate all the love and support we have from family and our photographer Justin posted some of the pictures on his blog. He is giving us some free prints if we get so many comments. The more the comments the bigger the print. (we shooting for 75 comments, but the deadline is Thursday). So if you want to comment on your favorites please do! (If you haven't already).

Can't wait to see you all soon and we're still working through our thank you card pile...but only two more weeks of school left! hooray!

2010 Fotheringham Style

Here is a look at what we have been doing in 2010 - I don't want to be left out of the next blog book! :)

Family pictures on News Years Eve by White House Photography. It was so cold, I think the whole shoot lasted barely 7 minutes!

Boogie Boarding in Hawaii! My mom & Molly stayed with the kids while we went to Hawaii for a week with Lorin's family. It was my first time to Hawaii & hopefully not my last!

Here we are before going to the Kona Temple.

We had lots of fun snorkeling (my favorite) boogie boarding, Lorin surfed, we all took lots of pictures & the girls shopped while the boys went deep sea fishing. Here we are at Hapuna Beach - Hawaii was so much fun!!

Polly kept telling us that there was a surprise on the way home from the airport when we got back into Salt Lake. We were welcomed home by balloons & decorations all over the house.

Emily & Brandon's wedding. I didn't get a picture with the bride & groom, but the day was extra fun for me because I got to make their slide show for the reception. It was a big project to get done in 2 weeks, but I had lots of fun doing it. Congratulations you two!

Polly's "golden birthday!" The REAL Sleeping Beauty came & entertained the girls. Easiest birthday party ever :)

Mom's birthday on March 4th - this picture is from a year ago before Erin went to prom :)

I was on the committee for Super Spence vs. Cancer. Spencer is a 7 year old boy in our neighborhood diagnosed with cancer on February 2, 2010. It was lots of fun & we had a great time serving Spencer & his family, raising money to cover their medical expenses. Almost 1000 people came out to support the cause & we made it on the Channel 2 & KJZZ News that night! We had a silent auction, bake sale, carnival games, food, concessions, bounce house, face painting, an awesome photographer (Fauset Photography), Munchkin Music was our DJ & MC, the Jazz Bear & Wesley Matthews flew in by helicopter, we sold t-shirts & bracelets & shaved almost 100 heads in support of Spencer. It was originally going to be a head shaving party for him as well, but he was unable to get released from the hospital to make it to the event. He is home now until he has to go back in for inpatient chemo, but he is doing really well with his treatment.

Me & my bald Bruce :) He shaved his head in the name of cancer!

Team Super Spence!

Lorin & Polly ready to hit the slopes!

Polly's first ski day up at Brighton!

Birthday dinner for Mom, Dad & Molly (March birthdays) - we missed you Mom (and Erin!)

~ Molly's 20th Birthday ~

Happy Birthday, Molly!

Thanks to Tom for posting a birthday blog for my dad...I have been so busy (I know, everyone says that but 2010 has had me going nonstop!) I have become a bad blogger!
Sorry this is a day late, Molly - Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Molly!
Amanda managed to find 7 candles for the cake :)

Mary had this cute birthday bear for Molly at the table. Everything seemed so funny last night, especially the bear. I don't know why, I think he's pretty cute in this picture! I must have been easily amused or surrounded by lots of funny people last night, I remember my cheeks hurting from laughing so hard.

Sunday we had an awesome birthday dinner at Jim & Mary's. It was so nice of them to put on a dinner & invite us when they are right in the middle of moving! We had steak, potatoes, beans, salad, rolls & for dessert, Ben & Courtney brought some chocolate cake & I made carmelitos for the first time. Yum! I was stuffed way beyond 70%.

The little kid table - Ben & I remember having the same table growing up!

Hope you had a happy birthday, Milly! We all went around the table & said our favorite thing about Molly...here are some that I remember. "Molly is a great slush maker, she is always willing to serve, she is the ultimate babysitter, she is a great dancer, singer, music-video-maker, gives good advice about boys, is cheerful, has a good attitude & is easy to talk to.
Happy Birthday Molly, we love you!!

Beaver Bash - Clark, Laura, and Night Train

While Team Norda's looks confident, the question remains: Did they spend enough practice time in the bathtub.

Supporters gettin' ready.

Team Viking.

Looking strong, if not fast.

The best run of the day was Team Dukes of Hazard in General Lee. After copious beers, their steering was a bit off . . .

. . . and they jumped the berm and headed toward the lodge . . .

. . . where they drove straight toward a outdoor clothing tent . . .

. . . sliding right into the middle of it . . .

. . . before coming to a stop. Daisy Duke was unharmed in the crash.

There was an appearance from Avatar.

And then it was finally time for Night Train. In a scene reminiscent of Ben Hur, Team Huck Finn was still clearing it's "raft" from the course when Clark and Laura started out. Fortunately the raft was cleared in time. After a fast start, Night Train upturned at the curve. Quickly getting back in, Clark and Laura were off and running again.

Looking good coming into the final stretch . .

. . . they suddenly found themselves leaning the wrong way . . .

. . . upturning abruptly.

Time is determined by crossing the finish line, with or without the sled, so Laura decides to hoof it in.

While we did miss the Big Air of the Glen Brothers, the Boxcar Race was great fun. Congrats to Clark for creating the best looking car at the Beav.

Happy 1st Birthday Merrick

Happy Birthday to Mr. Merrick!  While Adrienne and I were in California over the weekend we celebrated his Birthday.  He is taking about 5 steps on his own and is definitely independent!  He does what he wants :)  He likes trucks and will stare out the window and say "cruck".  He also says "uh oh" and "gog" aka dog.  It was so much fun to be out there for his Rock n' Roll themed 1st Birthday.  He even got his very own guitar!
Here he is getting ready for cake

Playing with his new bubble machine toy

Happy Birthday Merrick from your favorite Aunties!
