Autumnal running and Bullwinkle sighting
Last week that Isom boy and I set out from Tony Grove to Franklin Basin to gather up the flagging we had put up the previous week for the Bear 100. A bit of autumn, a bit of winter, and a bunch of pretty.
Looking back up White Pine Canyon toward Gog (or is it Magog? I'm never sure).
For General Conference weekend, Lorie and I did our now annual Jackson Hole trip. And yes, Elder Holland's address was outstanding
As usual, the weather was sketchy, but the views were magnificent.
One of the restored barns on Mormon Row.
On our way home, we saw Bullwinkle, Cowwinkle, and baby Calfwinkle settled in, waiting for the afternoon session of conference.
Hard to imagine a prettier place on earth than the Teton Valley. Beautiful. Concur on Elder Holland's talk. In a word: WOW
ReplyDeletesome of those pictures should be framed! Love the moose family...I want to know how far away you were?
ReplyDeleteHolland's talk was definitely powerful & I really liked Bednar's on Sat. too
Loved the photos (almost makes me home sick for fall) and also loved Elder Holland's talk thanks to lds.org streaming at 10:00 at night.
ReplyDeleteThanks to Rockin' Roland for the pictures. I've replace cornfields with the Tetons on my computer background. If only it were that easy in nature. What a great time of year!
ReplyDeleteDon't tell Shelly you saw the Winkle family, she gets very jealous. Impressive photos much like Elder Holland's talk, I loved his emotion and intensity.
ReplyDeleteAll of the above. It looks like you have had two noteworthy excursioins lately - we are glad you could get away from the hassles for a few days.
