Happy Birthday Polly!
Happy 3rd birthday Polly! I can't believe we have a 3 year old!
We have had a great day so far. We had tickets to go to the Draper Temple Open house for 8:40 but went at 11 since both kids actually slept in! Polly was so good & loved the bus ride as they shuttled us up to the temple from a nearby church. It was really fun, both kids were well behaved & quiet. After the tour we got some cookies (really soft & really yum) & then headed to Wal.Mart to get a few things & let Polly get a birthday Happy Meal. The rest of the day consisted of well-checks at the doctor, shots for Bruce (what a champ!) & then opening presents at home. It was hard to get Polly to sit still for a good picture, so the only ones I have are of her & her new Barbie. I wasn't sure if she would be old enough to like it but she has been having fun with it all day. I think she likes that it has wings & she can make it fly. We are having a birthday party with her cousins on Friday but I wanted to do a birthday blog for her. We sure love Polly, the past three years have gone by quickly - but at the same time it seems like she has been around for longer than that.
Thank you Grandma & Grandpa Emmett for Polly's birthday card & birthday money! We were at The Disney Store yesterday & Polly REALLY wanted this WALL-E stuffed "robot," so I told her she had to use her own money. She had $10 in birthday money from her Great Emmett & Great Fotheringham Grandparents so she stood in line & paid for it all by herself. She even gave me her change! What a great girl!
Happy Birthday Polly! What a cute 3 year old :) I love that she bought her own WALL-E doll, so grown up
ReplyDeleteWish we could have been there for Polly's birthday but we're blessed just having such a cute grand-daughter (with two loving parents and a patient younger brother).
ReplyDeleteLove, Grandma and Grandpa Emmett
We were glad to find out that everyone enjoyed Polly's birthday. If we all had the enthusiasm for life that she has it would be easier to put up with the little things that come along sometimes when we don't really want them to.
